This exchange was realized at the request of YB. Hannah Yeoh, Malaysia’s Minister of Youth and Sports, who expressed strong interest in and admiration for the Center’s initiatives. The minister and the delegates listened attentively, and at times were seen engaging in animated discussions in Malay about how these tools and programs might be applied in their own country.

This visit reaffirmed that our ongoing research and outreach activities related to women’s sport are gradually gaining recognition and traction across Asia and ASEAN countries.
