“WCA”, which provides coach education and training based on scientific research, was held for the first time in Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture for women who aim to become top coaches in Japan to succeed in the world.
The program included subjects such as the conditioning of female athletes, diversity management, leadership & collaboration, mental training, etc. which featured the essential perspectives necessary for female leaders and coaches who aim for the top along with the athletes. Lecturers were from the original WCA (in the United States) and other experts and researchers also gathered from both Japan and all over the world, and it was a fulfilling session.
The graduates continue to make efforts nationwide to achieve their goals while feeling the bonds with their peers and instructors who learned and discussed together in this academy.
