What is the “BODY CONFIDENT SPORT”?
Sport can be a great strength in life. Despite this, 45% of teenage girls worldwide quit sport. This percentage is double that of boys.
The “BODY CONFIDENT SPORT” is a global initiative to ensure that girls do not stop playing sport because of body image concerns. It was created to help girls and youth of all gender identities feel safe to be active and participate in sport. Its goal is to empower coaches and athletes globally to celebrate the true excellence that active bodies bring.
